Herts-based sludge/doom trio Everest Queen will be releasing their eagerly-anticipated debut album 'Dead Eden' on Thursday 18th April, so to mark the occasion we've assembled an appropriate line-up to help launch the album at Club 85. It's been a busy couple of years for these guys - from promoting the debut EP, to winning Metal 2 The Masses and playing at Bloodstock in 2017, to playing various gigs and festivals across the country and spending months in the studio perfecting the brand new tracks. Come kick off the Easter weekend early, and help us celebrate launching the sum of these efforts!
'Dead Eden' will be available on CD on the night and from various digital platforms, including https://everestqueen.bandcamp.com, where you'll find their previous releases.
Support come from:
Kylver - Progressive/doom instrumental four-piece from Newcastle, whose previous albums 'The Mountain Ghost' and 'The Island' have gathered praise in online press and seen them compared to the likes of Kyuss, Yes, Pelican and Russian Circles. Both albums are available at https://kylver.bandcamp.com, with a video for 'The Great Race' at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-llyhfR0_E.
Sail Band - Sludgy prog quartet from Taunton - check out their most recent release, the infectious album 'Slumbersong' on CD and digitally at https://thebandsail.bandcamp.com. FFO Mastodon, Boss Keloid.
